What junk removal costs on the North Shore

Prices start where you see below and go up with size and weight, never with stairs or with how far it has to travel to the truck.

The price is the same in all thirteen towns we serve: Danvers, Lynn, Salem, Beverly, Peabody, Saugus, Woburn, Gloucester, Marblehead, North Andover, Revere, Malden and Medford. There is no travel fee between them, so a Gloucester garage costs what a Danvers garage costs. We load and haul the same day, Monday to Friday from 8 to 5 and Saturday from 8 to 3, and the number you get by text is the number you pay.

What’s included in every junk removal cost

Every junk removal cost on this page comes with the same five promises. You text a photo and get a price in minutes, with no hidden fees. If we damage anything on the way out, we fix it at our own expense. The spot is left broom clean. You get a two-hour arrival window and a text 15 minutes before we pull up, and if we are late, you get 10% off. Afterward, you get a short report of what was donated, recycled or thrown away.

Half a truck looks like this — the load size that prices from $279.

What changes the price, and what does not

Two things set the number: how much room your junk takes in the truck, and weight when the load is dirt, concrete, brick or shingles. Stairs and a long carry do not change it. Carrying is the job, and you hear the price before we start, never after.

Stairs

No stair fee. A third-floor walk-up is priced the same as a garage at street level.

Weight

Dirt, concrete and shingles are heavy for their size, so they price by weight instead of volume.

Access

If the truck cannot get close, we carry it further by hand. That is part of the job, not a surcharge.

What we can’t take

There is one category we turn down, and it is the same one every honest hauler turns down.

Five things stay off the truck: paint, chemicals and solvents, tires, propane tanks, and anything with asbestos.
Those go to your town’s hazardous-waste collection or a licensed facility — a junk truck is not allowed to carry them. Everything else on this page, we take. Not sure about something? Text a photo before we come out and we will tell you straight.

Junk removal cost questions

Do you charge for the estimate?

No. Text a photo and you get a price back. If we come out and you do not like the number, we leave and you owe nothing.

Is the dump fee extra?

No. Every price on this page already includes the disposal fee.

Why price by volume instead of by the hour?

Because an hourly clock rewards a slow crew. Paying for the space you fill means a fast job costs you less, not more.

Can you take paint?

No. Paint, chemicals and solvents, tires, propane tanks and asbestos are the five things we cannot put on the truck. Your town handles those through its hazardous-waste collection.

How can I pay?

Cash, check, or bank transfer. You pay when the job is done, not before.

How much does junk removal cost for a couch?

A couch is a single furniture piece, from $85, with labor, loading and the dump fee included. Text a photo and you get the exact number.

How much does junk removal cost for a whole house?

A whole-house cleanout prices by the truckload: a full truck starts at $450, with labor, loading and the dump fee included. Text photos of the rooms for your exact price.
