Short answer: yes, appliance removal with us covers fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves and water heaters, straight out of the basement. We unhook the water lines and the dryer vent, carry it up the stairs and sweep up behind us. A single appliance starts at $70 with the disposal fee included. Gas appliances are the one exception: have the gas line shut off and capped first.

One price per unit, start to finish. The disposal fee is already in it.

We unhook the water line on a washer and the vent on a dryer. Gas appliances are the one exception: the gas line has to be shut off and capped by you or your plumber before we load it.
Fridges, freezers and AC units hold refrigerant that cannot go to a landfill. They go where it gets reclaimed.
Washers, dryers, stoves and water heaters are mostly steel. That goes to a metal recycler.
We lay down protection before a hand truck ever touches your hardwood.
Call in the morning and the old fridge is usually gone by the afternoon.
Appliance removal starts with a photo. Text a picture of the fridge or the washer to (978) 788-0354 and you get a price back in minutes, with no hidden fees. On the day, you get a two-hour arrival window and a text 15 minutes before we pull up, and if we are late, you get 10% off. If we damage anything on the way out, we fix it at our own expense, and you get a short report of what was donated, recycled or disposed of.
Appliances are priced per unit, because each one carries its own disposal fee. You get the number before we unhook anything.
Fridge, washer, dryer, stove or water heater.
A fridge, a stove and a dishwasher coming out together.
Half a truck: old washer, dryer, water heater and freezer in one trip.
Every price includes the labor, the loading and the dump fee. Text a photo and you get your number before anything moves.
Most appliances we haul come up from a basement, and often they are not the only thing down there. If you are clearing the whole space, a basement cleanout prices it as one load instead of unit by unit: half a truck from $279, a full truck from $450. Replacing the living room at the same time? Furniture removal starts at $85 a piece. Tell us everything in one text and you get one number.
Same crew, same day, across the North Shore.

I texted Washington out of the blue after seeing a ton of positive Facebook posts about his removal service. Less than 3 hours after I sent the first message, Washington just left with all the stuff that had been driving me crazy in my yard and garage for the last year. Nice person, very reasonable pricing. 100% saving this number for next time I need anything hauled away.

I’m very happy with my experience with North Shore Junk Co.! Washington was very kind, professional, and made everything so easy. He came to my house today and picked up everything I needed, and the whole process was quick and hassle-free. I thought the price was very fair, especially for the amount of stuff he removed. It was such a relief to get everything taken care of without having to worry about anything. I’m really glad I found this company and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs junk removal. I would absolutely use their service again! Thank you so much, Washington! 😊

Yes. A fridge holds refrigerant, so it cannot go out with the household trash. We take it to a facility that reclaims the refrigerant and recycles the steel.
No. We unhook the water lines and the dryer vent ourselves. A gas stove or a gas dryer is different: have the gas line shut off and capped before we arrive, and then we carry it out.
No. Carrying it up the stairs is the job. The price you get back by text already accounts for where the appliance is sitting.
Yes. Window units, portable air conditioners and dehumidifiers all hold refrigerant, which is exactly why the town will not take them with the trash. They go to a facility that reclaims it, and that is already inside the price you are quoted.
The steel gets recycled and the refrigerant is reclaimed at a licensed facility. Anything still working goes to donation when a charity will take it, and you get a written summary of where each piece went.
