Up the stairs is our problem
Narrow treads, low beams, a bulkhead that sticks — that is the normal basement job, not an exception.

Short answer: yes, we do basement cleanouts, and everything goes up the stairs on our backs, not yours. Decades of boxes, broken furniture, the dead washer and the old water heater all come up and out, and the floor gets swept before we leave. The one thing that stays is the shelf of old paint: paint, chemicals, solvents, tires and propane tanks go to your town’s hazardous-waste collection, not onto our truck.

One price, and the stairs are already in it.
Narrow treads, low beams, a bulkhead that sticks — that is the normal basement job, not an exception.
Point from the top of the stairs if you like. We bring up anything you are unsure about so you can look at it.
Wet cardboard and musty furniture come out too. We bag whatever needs bagging.
The dead washer, the spare fridge and the old water heater go in the same trip.
Gas appliances need one step before we arrive. If the water heater or the dryer runs on gas, the line has to be shut off and capped by you or a plumber first, because we do not disconnect gas. Once it is capped, the appliance comes up the stairs with everything else. Appliances start from $70 each when that is all you need gone, and a basement that fills half the truck starts from $279, with the stairs already in the number.
The concrete gets swept before we leave, so you can actually see the space.
Anything you want to keep gets moved where you want it, not thrown out.
Send a photo of the basement and you get a price in minutes, with no hidden fees added later. We book a two-hour arrival window and text 15 minutes before we arrive; if we are late, you get 10% off. Walls, railings and door frames on the way up are covered by our property protection promise: if we damage something, we repair it at our own cost. When we finish, the floor is broom clean and you get a short report of what was donated, recycled or thrown away.
Priced by how much of the truck the basement fills. The stairs are in the number already — they are not a surcharge.
One corner, or just the storage room. Priced per item.
Half a truck: the whole floor, boxes and furniture.
A full truck: everything, including the old washer and the water heater.
Every price includes the labor, the loading and the dump fee. Text a photo and you get your number before anything moves.
Same crew, same day, across the North Shore.
Basements tend to fill up alongside the rest of the house. If the garage is in the same shape, a garage cleanout is priced the same way, by how much of the truck it fills. When the whole house is being cleared for a sale, an estate cleanout takes in the basement, the attic and every room in between. And if it is only the old couch or a mattress down there, furniture and mattress removal is priced per item, from $85.

I texted Washington out of the blue after seeing a ton of positive Facebook posts about his removal service. Less than 3 hours after I sent the first message, Washington just left with all the stuff that had been driving me crazy in my yard and garage for the last year. Nice person, very reasonable pricing. 100% saving this number for next time I need anything hauled away.

I’m very happy with my experience with North Shore Junk Co.! Washington was very kind, professional, and made everything so easy. He came to my house today and picked up everything I needed, and the whole process was quick and hassle-free. I thought the price was very fair, especially for the amount of stuff he removed. It was such a relief to get everything taken care of without having to worry about anything. I’m really glad I found this company and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs junk removal. I would absolutely use their service again! Thank you so much, Washington! 😊

Deserve more than 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Professional, on time, thorough and a good price!
No. Getting it up the stairs is the job. The price you get back by text already accounts for it.
Mildewed boxes and damp furniture we take. Actual mold remediation is a licensed trade and a different phone call.
Usually. When something genuinely will not fit, we take it apart down there rather than force it through.
Yes. Washers, dryers, water heaters and the spare fridge are the most common things we carry up those stairs — see appliance removal for how they are handled and recycled.
Then everything comes up the interior stairs instead. It is slower for us, not more expensive for you: the price is still based on how much of the truck it fills.
It is priced by how much of the truck the basement fills: single items from $70, half a truck from $279, a full truck from $450. The stairs, labor, loading and dump fee are included.
Text a photo from the bottom of the stairs and we’ll send back a price.
