Garage Cleanout in Danvers & the North Shore

Short answer: yes, we do garage cleanouts — and you can park a car in there again the same day. The boxes nobody opened since the move, the bikes nobody rides, the mower that stopped working. We pull it all out, you say what stays, and we sweep the slab.

What’s included in a garage cleanout

One price, start to finish. You keep whatever you want to keep.

You decide what stays

We pull things onto the driveway first so you can see it all at once. Nothing goes on the truck until you say so.

We do the lifting

Overhead racks, the loft, the corner behind everything else. You point, we climb.

Donation and recycling first

Bikes, tools and working equipment go to donation when they can. Metal goes to a recycler.

Slab swept

Years of leaves, sawdust and mouse nests get swept out before we leave.

Usually one trip

Most single and two-bay garages are a single truckload.

Paint and chemicals

Those we cannot take. Paint, solvents, chemicals, tires and propane tanks go to your town’s hazardous-waste collection. Set them aside and we clear everything else.

How a garage cleanout works, step by step

Text a photo of the garage to (978) 788-0354 and you get a price back in minutes, with no hidden fees added later. We book a two-hour arrival window and text you 15 minutes before the truck pulls up; if we are late, you get 10% off. On the day, everything comes out onto the driveway, you point at what goes back in, and the rest is loaded and hauled the same day. The slab gets swept before we leave, and you get a short report of what was donated, recycled or thrown away.

What a garage cleanout costs

Priced by how much of the truck the garage fills, never by the hour. You get the number before we start pulling things out.

Just a few items
from $70

The old mower, the freezer, the bikes. Priced per item.

Single or two-bay garage
from $279

Half a truck: a garage, moderately full.

Garage plus loft
from $450

A full truck: two bays packed, plus the overhead storage.

What moves the price is volume, not time. A single or two-bay garage that is moderately full is usually half a truck, from $279; two packed bays plus the overhead storage is closer to a full truck, from $450. If only a few things are going, they are priced per item instead: appliances from $70, furniture from $85, exercise equipment from $105. Labor, loading and the dump fee are always included, there is no travel fee in any of the thirteen towns we serve, and you can pay by cash, check or bank transfer.

Other cleanouts that pair with a garage

A garage is rarely the only full space in the house. If the basement is in the same state, a basement cleanout is priced the same way, by how much of the truck it fills, so one set of photos can cover both. When the whole house is being emptied for a sale, an estate cleanout takes in every room, the garage included. And if the only thing left out there is a dead fridge or freezer, appliance removal is priced per item, from $70, and the refrigerant goes to a facility that reclaims it.

I texted Washington out of the blue after seeing a ton of positive Facebook posts about his removal service. Less than 3 hours after I sent the first message, Washington just left with all the stuff that had been driving me crazy in my yard and garage for the last year. Nice person, very reasonable pricing. 100% saving this number for next time I need anything hauled away.

I’m very happy with my experience with North Shore Junk Co.! Washington was very kind, professional, and made everything so easy. He came to my house today and picked up everything I needed, and the whole process was quick and hassle-free. I thought the price was very fair, especially for the amount of stuff he removed. It was such a relief to get everything taken care of without having to worry about anything. I’m really glad I found this company and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs junk removal. I would absolutely use their service again! Thank you so much, Washington! 😊

Garage cleanout questions

Do I have to sort it before you come?

No, and it is easier if you don’t. We pull everything onto the driveway and you point at what goes back in.

Can you take paint cans?

No. Paint, solvents and chemicals follow their own disposal rules in Massachusetts and have to go to the town’s hazardous-waste collection. Same for tires and propane tanks. Leave them to one side and we take the rest.

How long does a garage take?

Most two-bay garages are a two to four hour job.

Can you take the old fridge or freezer out there?

Yes. The spare fridge in the corner of the garage is one of the most common items we take. It holds refrigerant, so it goes to a facility that reclaims it — see appliance removal for how that works.

Do the shelving and the workbench go too?

If you want them gone, yes. We take shelving units, workbenches and overhead racks apart and carry them out in pieces, so the slab is genuinely empty when we leave.

How much does it cost to have a garage cleaned out?

Most garages price from $279 for half a truck or from $450 for a full truck, including labor, loading and the dump fee. Text a photo and you get your number in minutes.
