Hot Tub Removal in Danvers & the North Shore

Short answer: yes, hot tub removal with us means you do not drain it, cut it or move it. We bring a pump, saws and straps, drain the water, cut the shell down right in the yard and carry it out in pieces. Most tubs are gone in two to three hours. The one thing we need from you: have an electrician disconnect the power before the day we come.

What’s included in hot tub removal

One price, start to finish. Nothing gets added at the end.

Draining included, power off before we come

We drain the water and take the tub apart. The electrical side is not ours: have an electrician disconnect the power before the day we come.

Cut down on site

The shell comes apart in the yard, so nothing has to squeeze through your gate in one piece.

Deck and lawn left alone

We lay down protection and carry the pieces out. Your deck boards and grass stay how we found them.

Hauled and sorted

Metal and motor go to recycling. The rest goes to the transfer station — never to your curb.

Swept clean

Screws, shards and foam get picked up before we leave. Kids and dogs use that yard.

Same-day when we can

Call in the morning and there is a good chance the tub is gone by the afternoon.

How hot tub removal works

Hot tub removal starts with a photo of the tub and the path to the street. Text it to (978) 788-0354 and you get a price back in minutes, with no hidden fees. On the day, you get a two-hour arrival window and a text 15 minutes before we pull up, and if we are late, you get 10% off. If we damage your deck, fence or lawn on the way out, we fix it at our own expense.

What hot tub removal costs

A standard four-to-six person tub starts at $130, and a tub sitting on a deck starts at the same price. What moves the number is the size of the tub. A long walk to the street or a tight gate is part of the job, not an extra charge. A swim spa or an oversized shell is half a truck, from $279. The cover, the steps and the equipment pack go in the same price. See the full junk removal cost list for every other item.

Price depends on the size of the tub, not on how far it has to travel to the truck. You get the number before we start cutting.

Standard 4–6 person tub
from $130

Cut down in the yard and carried out in pieces.

Tub on a deck
from $130

Same starting price. A long carry or a tight gate is part of the job, not an extra charge.

Swim spa / oversized
from $279

Half a truck: bigger shell, more cutting and more carrying.

Every price includes the labor, the loading and the dump fee. Text a photo and you get your number before anything moves.

I texted Washington out of the blue after seeing a ton of positive Facebook posts about his removal service. Less than 3 hours after I sent the first message, Washington just left with all the stuff that had been driving me crazy in my yard and garage for the last year. Nice person, very reasonable pricing. 100% saving this number for next time I need anything hauled away.

I’m very happy with my experience with North Shore Junk Co.! Washington was very kind, professional, and made everything so easy. He came to my house today and picked up everything I needed, and the whole process was quick and hassle-free. I thought the price was very fair, especially for the amount of stuff he removed. It was such a relief to get everything taken care of without having to worry about anything. I’m really glad I found this company and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs junk removal. I would absolutely use their service again! Thank you so much, Washington! 😊

Hot tub removal questions

Do I need to drain it first?

No. We bring a pump and drain it ourselves. If you already drained it, that just saves us half an hour.

Will you have to take my fence apart?

Almost never. Because we cut the shell into pieces in the yard, we can walk it out through a normal gate.

What happens to the tub?

The motor, pump and metal frame go to a metal recycler. The acrylic shell and the foam go to the transfer station.

How long does hot tub removal take?

Most tubs are gone in two to three hours, start to finish. A swim spa or an oversized shell takes longer because there is more cutting, and we tell you that when we price it, not on the day.

Do the cover and the steps go too?

Yes. The cover, the steps, the equipment pack and the loose panels all leave with the shell. There is no second trip and no second charge for the pieces around the tub.

How much does hot tub removal cost?

A standard four-to-six person tub starts at $130, on the ground or on a deck. A swim spa or an oversized shell starts at $279, which is half a truck. The dump fee is included, and a long carry costs nothing extra.

Can you remove a hot tub from a deck?

Yes. We cut it down where it sits and carry the pieces out over protection, so your deck boards stay the way we found them.
